The local authority approached Chris in 2005 and asked him to produce a costed proposal for a new monthly magazine.
Winning the tender saw the start of secondary employment alongside the ‘day job’ – managing pr and communications for a district council – which grew over the next four years to the point where the ‘day job’ became Cian creative pr.
October 2025 saw our 20th anniversary issue – a fantastic achievement. More than 240 editions later we are still producing Pont News & Views every month and delivering it to more than 5,000 homes and businesses across the Ponteland parish.
Community magazine produced every month since October 2005.
