About
Cian creative pr was founded in 2009 by Chris Jennings, after a successful career in both journalism and in-house communications management in the local government and further education sectors.
We have since grown to serve a wide range of public and private sector organisations.
Publicly-funded clients include school multi academy trusts, further education colleges and local authorities. Micro-businesses and SMEs we currently support are in the executive search, financial services and healthcare space.
The key to our success is our clients’ success. The proof is client retention; most have been with us for more than five years and some over a decade now.
Cian creative pr was launched after four years of secondary employment offering marketing services for clients which started with the creation of the Pont News magazine for Ponteland Town Council in 2005. The monthly publication is still going strong after two decades and more than 240 issues.
As the wordsmith, Chris has been supported from the start by Mick Wood who heads up creative and digital.
Behind us are a talented team of seasoned professionals we have relied on for years, providing all the other pieces of the jigsaw including photography and filming, print and distribution, web development, media buying and copywriting.
Usually engaging us via flexible retainer arrangements, we like to think our clients see us as an integral part of their team – working closely to achieve shared business objectives.
Chris has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations since graduating from the University of Sunderland with the CIPR Diploma in 2006 and is also a fully qualified journalist.
