After a long standing relationship devising successful advertising campaigns for hb opticians, we were commissioned by owner Hazel Bough to design and build a new website. It needed to be eyecatching, help promote new audiology and podiatry services as well as eyecare and eyewear, and have a full content management system. The client is delighted with the results.

Bishop Auckland College

Having previously been a senior manager in the further education industry, Cian director Chris Jennings had a particular insight into the requirements of Bishop Auckland College when asked to assist their summer 2011 enrolment campaign with strategic pr consultancy. The immediate impact has seen regional newspaper, radio and TV coverage and we are now working on a retained basis throughout their 2011-12 academic year.

Burgham Horse Trials

Cian creative pr generated significant media coverage for this major sporting event held in July 2011, with television, radio and press articles. We designed and built the event website, with an interactive forum and online ticket sales. A combination of pr, social media, advertising and direct marketing generated huge interest, with the website enjoying over 20,000 visits.

Datawright

Having developed a new brand ID and corporate literature for Datawright’s flagship product Kingfisher ERP in 2010, we were commissioned to build a new website for the firm in 2011. Facilities include a secure client area with an interactive forum, corporate brochure downloads and online quotation.

Media relations

Fruit to Suit

Cian creative pr was commissioned by new business start-up franchise Fruit to Suit to manage the firm's North-East media launch, and secured excellent coverage in the local and regional press. A double page spread in the Newcastle Evening Chronicle's education supplement and a full page in the Shields Gazette generated a number of fresh leads for franchisee Lisa Smith, giving her new business ideal exposure and raising awareness among the educational community.

Aimhigher TWN

Cian were commissioned by Aimhigher Tyne & Wear/Northumberland, a Government funded agency which promotes higher education in areas with low participation, to publicise their work via a combination of media relations and e-marketing. Since our appointment in March we have secured significant press coverage for their Associates mentoring scheme and developed a new e-newsletter.

We produce popular monthly community magazine Pont News & Views for Ponteland Town Council, including editing, creative design, print, distribution and advertising recruitment.

We are the retained PR consultancy for this international executive search partnership, which has offices in London, Leeds and Manchester. Work includes media relations, creative design, web and client e-communication.

Branding, web and media

Adapt (North East)

We were commissioned to market a new scheme offering affordable short term vehicle lease to unemployed people in Northumberland. The project included brand identity, website, promotional material, a stakeholder launch event and media relations for the Green Light to Work scheme.
